American Deadbeat

We are a group of friends who have access to information and are tired of watching others taking advantage of, or manipulating, people and businesses. Most people work hard and pay the bills that kill, however, some people use the system (and at times the law) to their unfair advantage, and the result of that is driving prices, fees, costs and taxes up for all of the rest of us.

We devised the idea for this site based on many conversations with friends in the finance, credit and collection industries, who shared similar experiences in dealing with certain types of people. While we could’ve chosen a different word, the term “deadbeat” was at the heart of the matter. We wanted to expose those who are out there, playing unfairly and mistreating others, whose success has been via ill-gotten gains or less than reputable means. We are not creating anything that isn’t already out there, and we are not disparaging anyone. We have simply compiled information found in various places and presented it to you along with our comments, so that you can read it for yourself and draw your own conclusions. We will continue to share stories in the coming months and years of those worthy of the title American Deadbeat, and if you’re one of these types of people, you just may be next.
